Families
Families deserve appropriate information and compassionate updates throughout the care journey.

Built from inside deathcare
Obitix was created from firsthand experience inside funeral service — where communication, documentation, accountability, and compassionate care must work together every day. We are building technology that helps funeral professionals stay connected, keep families informed, and create greater trust and transparency throughout the care journey.
Built by a funeral professional
Obitix began with a simple belief: some of the best solutions for funeral service will come from the people who understand the work firsthand.
Founder John E. Robinson brings approximately two decades of experience in funeral service, including experience as a licensed funeral director and embalmer and funeral home owner. That experience revealed a recurring challenge: important information often lives across different people, conversations, documents, systems, and moments of the care journey.
Obitix was created to connect those moments.
“I didn't start with technology and go looking for a funeral-industry problem. I started with the problems I experienced in funeral service and began building the technology I believed our profession needed.”

The why
Families deserve appropriate information and compassionate updates throughout the care journey.
Funeral professionals need connected workflows, clear documentation, and technology that supports rather than complicates their work.
Every important transfer, verification, milestone, authorization, and care event should be documented and accountable.
When these three come together, technology becomes more than software. It becomes infrastructure for trust.

Learn moreWhat guides us
Technology should help strengthen confidence between funeral professionals and the families they serve.
Appropriate information should reach the right people at the right time.
Important care events should be documented clearly and responsibly.
Technology should support compassionate professionals — never remove the human element from deathcare.
The future of deathcare
Our vision extends beyond a single feature or workflow. Obitix is building toward a connected technology ecosystem where funeral professionals, care teams, families, documentation, compliance, and intelligent tools can work together throughout the deathcare journey.
We believe the future of deathcare will be more connected, more accountable, more transparent — and still deeply human.
